A One Act Competitions are where schools bring a single act of a play for performance and evaluation. The large Civic center stage had a performance area marked off and each school had 55 minutes to set-up their scenery inside that area, perform their play and then clear the area. A time judge told them when to begin and called
"clear" when the stage is judged empty. The schools took the Civic Center stage, in turn and their performances were graded and ranked by three judges.
Brookwood now advances to the State-wide One Act competition held in Perry, GA on November 13th.
Schools can advance from Regional, to State and then National competition - Brookwood has been to two National Competitions.
