Snellville, GA - Brookwood took it's Les Mis' One Act on the road as we moved on to the Regional One Act Competition and four students were were recognized for superior performances.

Brookwood's Musical Theater group performed 4th, to a full house at the regional One Act Competition, held at the Gwinnett Performing Arts Center, last Wednesday.

Brookwood performed a shortened version of Les Misérables and four students were recognized for superior performances:
(in order of appearance in the picture):
Julia McDaris for her performance as Fantine
Neal Echols for his performance as Jean Valjean
Gretchen Gordon for her performance as Madame Thenardier
Rico Sisney for his performance as Thenardier

Unfortuneately, only one of the six performances could go to the state competition and that award went to an excellent performance of the play "Children Of A Lesser God".

Performances of the full production of Les Misérables will begin on December 11th.
